Radimov mentioned the main game in the Russian championship

The former midfielder of the Russian national team and Zenit club from Saint Petersburg, Vladislav Radimov, shared his thoughts on the central match of the first round of the new season of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Radimov, frankly speaking, there are no significant games that stand out at the start of the current season. He considers the most notable match to be the Samara derby between Akron and Krylya Sovetov.

This game will take place on July 19. Last season, these teams finished in tenth and ninth places in the competition table, respectively.

Looking back in history, these teams have faced each other four times in official matches. In the 2020-2021 first division season, Krylya Sovetov won twice: they triumphed 2-1 in the first match as guests and won 3-0 at home in the second match.

In the last season, Akron prevailed over Krylya Sovetov in both encounters within the Russian Premier League, recording scores of 2-0 in both the away and home matches.
