Sports lawyer Anton Smirnov, a specialist working with striker Vladimir Pisarskiy, evaluated the decision of the "Krylya Sovetov" team to terminate the contract with the player. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Samara team unilaterally terminated the contract by the employer, relying on the relevant articles of the Labor Code. This article serves as a basis for terminating the contract early if the player is disqualified for more than six months.
However, Pisarskiy does not agree with this decision. According to Smirnov, a ban on football-related activities and disqualification are two different penalties, which are clearly stated in the rules of the Russian Football Union.
He wrote about this on the Telegram channel "Honesty is not a sin." Vladimir Pisarskiy has been banned from the football field for four years, three of which are conditional.
This disqualification was imposed due to his indirect involvement in match-fixing. The striker may return to football next summer.
