Famous football agent Dmitriy Selyuk commented on the extension of Leonid Slutskiy's contract with the Chinese club "Shanghai Shenhua." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It has been revealed that Slutskiy has signed a new contract for two seasons. According to the agent, Slutskiy currently feels comfortable in China, where he lives in good conditions and is gradually preparing the team.
Selyuk stated that Slutskiy could have also worked under similar conditions at the Kazakh club "Kairat." At the same time, he expresses doubts about Slutskiy managing the Chinese national team, as the national team is weak and its level is not suitable for the Russian specialist.
Slutskiy has been managing the Shanghai club since December 2023. Under his leadership, the team has won the Chinese Super Cup twice.
Currently, "Shenhua" is one of the leaders in the championship, having accumulated 38 points. At the same time, the "Beijing Guoan" club also has the same number of points.
