Syomin: Slutskiy may manage the Chinese national team

The former coach of the Russian national team and the capital's Lokomotiv team, Yuri Syomin, commented on Leonid Slutskiy's activities in China. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, Slutskiy is achieving good results with the Chinese club, and confidence has been expressed in this regard. It has been revealed that the local specialist has extended his contract with the "Shanghai Shenhua" club for two years.

Syomin stated that it is hoped that the team under Slutskiy's leadership will finally secure the championship. He also emphasized that Slutskiy could manage the Chinese national team and expressed a positive opinion about it.

Leonid Slutskiy has been active at the "Shanghai Shenhua" club since December 2023. Under his leadership, the team has won the Chinese Super Cup twice.

Currently, "Shenhua" is in second place in the championship table and has the same points as "Beijing Guoan" – 38 points. These results indicate the club's successful performance.
