Bystrov: The Portuguese footballers who came to Dynamo were weak

Before the start of the 2005 season, the Moscow Dynamo team added seven Portuguese players to their squad, including players like Derley and Danni. In the first round of the championship, the team lost to Zenit with a score of 1:4.

Bystrov stated that they had defeated these players and the team was on the verge of being relegated from the championship. Although many players were purchased, there was no effect, and only Danni managed to stand out.

In the summer of 2005, several more Portuguese-speaking footballers joined the team. At that time, the club made record-level expenditures and finished the season in eighth place, while the next season they ended up in the fourth ten.
