Zabolotniy: Spartak fans may not accept me

Moscow "Spartak" team's forward Anton Zabolotniy stated that he understands the negative attitude of "Spartak" fans towards him. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized that he fully understands their opinions and said that the fans do not have to accept him. Nevertheless, he announced that he would do everything possible to change their views.

Previously, Zabolotniy played for CSKA and "Zenit" clubs, and his last activity was with the "Khimki" team near Moscow. Currently, the 34-year-old footballer has signed a one-season contract with "Spartak".

He joined the team as a free agent and no payment was made. In the first round of the new season, on July 19, 2025, "Spartak" will host "Dinamo" from the city of Makhachkala at their home ground.

This match marks the beginning of the new season for the teams and generates great interest among the fans.
