Spartak may play in a blue and white kit in the future
Vyacheslav Solovyev, the deputy director general for commerce and development of the Spartak team, commented on the team's playing kit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He was asked whether Spartak might take the field in a blue and white kit in the future. It turns out that in 1993, the team played in such a kit against Monaco in the Champions League.
According to Solovyev, there is a shirt in their official store made from pieces of kits from various years. This shirt also includes a diamond-shaped blue piece.
They do not hide this and emphasized that they are ready to implement it if conditions and a concept for such a kit arise. Previously, Spartak presented a new kit prepared in traditional red and white colors for the 2025/2026 season.
In the first round of the Russian Premier League, Spartak will host the Dynamo team from Makhachkala at their home ground. This match will start on July 19, Saturday, at 20:30 Moscow time.
