Goalkeeper Marco Sportiello has joined the "Atalanta" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The player arrived at the Bergamasque team as a free agent and signed a three-year contract. The new player is 33 years old and has played for the "Milan" club for the last two years.
Sportiello was trained at the "Atalanta" football academy and joined the main team in 2010. He was part of the "Atalanta" squad until 2023, but is now returning to a familiar team after being loaned out several times.
In the last Italian Serie A championship, "Atalanta" finished in third place in the league table. In the summer, the club's head coach changed, as Gian Piero Gasperini, who had managed the team for many years, left his position.
The team is preparing for the new season under the guidance of a new coach. Marco Sportiello's return will further strengthen the team's goalkeeper line.
"Atalanta" aims to achieve high results with its strong squad.
