Amazon allows users to create podcasts independently

On Monday, Amazon introduced a new feature for its voice assistant, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The update allows users to independently create audio recordings—podcast episodes—on any topic of their choice. For now, the service is available to users in the United States.
People can now obtain a ready-made audio product simply by stating their topic of interest, without writing any scripts or uploading additional documents. The system gathers information from the internet based on the user’s request and turns it into an episode in the form of a brief summary.
Listeners can adjust the duration of the audio, the tone of speech, and the thematic focus according to their preferences. Once the process is complete, AI-generated voices read out the text.
Users are notified about the finished content via their dedicated device or mobile app. This step is part of Amazon’s broader strategy to transform its voice assistant from a simple helper into a tool for personal content creation.
However, the use of AI-generated voices and automated information is expected to spark discussions about ethical standards and the reliability of data. To ensure accuracy and prevent errors, Amazon is collaborating with influential news agencies worldwide.
In the future, the company plans to introduce additional features, such as creating personalized news feeds and generating audio content based on users’ personal documents. Such technologies could completely reshape the culture of information consumption in the years to come.
