Lenovo launches new dual-GPU workstation

Lenovo has officially launched a special configuration of its new ThinkCentre X Tower workstation in the Chinese market, featuring dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics accelerators installed simultaneously in the system unit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The key technical feature of this device is that its system unit houses two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics accelerators at once, an approach aimed at significantly boosting graphical performance for professional users.
This development has been covered by international tech publications. The new computer appeared on the JD trading platform priced at 35,999 yuan, which is approximately equivalent to $5,300 USD.
It is worth noting that Lenovo first showcased such devices at CES 2026, but only now have the pricing and exact technical specifications of the dual-GPU configuration been revealed. The system's core is powered by a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus central processor.
The workstation is equipped with 64 GB of fast memory and a 1 TB storage device. The two GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards together provide a total of 32 GB of GDDR7 memory.
However, the manufacturer highlights an important point: Lenovo does not market this computer as a device designed for gaming enthusiasts. The reason is that the system does not support traditional multi-GPU configurations (such as SLI or NVLink) for combining video cards.
This means modern games will not recognize these two cards as a single graphics accelerator. Instead, each video card operates independently, and task distribution between them is managed by specialized software.
As a result, this workstation is primarily intended for complex computational tasks. It is mainly used for working with and training artificial intelligence models, creating complex 3D graphics, and visualization processes.
Additionally, it efficiently handles large-volume video processing, engineering calculations, and scientific modeling—areas that demand high computational power. The system is housed in a durable 34-liter chassis, with an estimated total weight of around 21 kilograms.
Lenovo engineers have paid special attention to system protection and continuous monitoring of internal conditions. The computer's cooling system allows real-time monitoring of fan efficiency and component contamination levels.
Regarding connectivity, the ThinkCentre X Tower features the latest wireless adapter, two high-speed network ports, and a Thunderbolt 4 interface for fast data transfer.
As of now, there is no official information on when this powerful workstation will be released in international markets or what its price will be in other countries.
