The air quality in Tashkent has sharply deteriorated

On March 28, the concentration of PM2.5 fine particles in the air in Tashkent city reached 30 µg/m³, which is 6 times higher than the standards recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), reported NOVA24.

As of 08:00, although the levels of ozone and PM10 pollutants did not exceed the established threshold values, the concentration of PM2.5 particles was 6 times higher than the WHO standard. The air quality is assessed as moderate.
