Rainy weather is expected in Uzbekistan throughout the week

The "Uzgidromet" agency reports that unstable weather will persist until the end of the work week.

Daytime temperatures will reach +27…+29 degrees, and in some places +30…+32 degrees. After a long period of dry and warm weather, moist and relatively cool air masses began to enter the western regions of the republic on March 23. Rain fell in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Navoi regions, with heavy rainfall in some areas.

On Monday, moist air masses will spread across all regions of Uzbekistan. Rain will fall across the republic, with heavy rain possible in some areas, and thunderstorms may occur. In some places, wind speeds may increase to 15–20 meters per second. The air temperature will be around +12…+15 degrees.

Throughout the week, rain is expected in some areas, but the likelihood of rain is low in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions on March 26–28.

During these days, temperatures will gradually decrease, with nighttime temperatures around +4…+6 degrees and daytime temperatures ranging from +8…+13 degrees. In foothill and mountainous areas, precipitation (rain, which may turn to snow) may be heavy in some places on March 24–25.

There may be mudflow and flooding events in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic. There is a risk of snow avalanches in the mountainous areas of the republic on March 24–25.

In Tashkent city, rain is expected on March 24. The wind will blow at a speed of 3–8 meters per second, possibly increasing to 10–12 meters per second. The temperature will be +15…+17 degrees. Rain is expected on March 25. The wind will blow at a speed of 5–10 meters per second. The temperature will be +6…+8 degrees at night and +12…+14 degrees during the day.

On March 26–27, intermittent rain is expected. The wind will blow at a speed of 5–10 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will be +4…+6 degrees, and daytime temperatures will decrease to +8…+10 degrees.
