The presidents congratulated each other and their peoples on Navruz and the upcoming Ramadan holiday.

The parties noted that the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has reached a high level today. Contacts at all levels have intensified, the volume of trade has increased by 14 percent since the beginning of the year, and a portfolio of investment projects worth more than 4 billion dollars has been formed. Interregional relations, cultural and humanitarian cooperation are also expanding.

The deputy prime ministers provided information on measures being taken to promote cooperation projects in priority areas such as expanding mutual trade, machine engineering, electrical engineering, oil and gas, textiles, agriculture, and others.

The presidents gave specific instructions to develop a long-term program for industrial cooperation and to accelerate regional infrastructure projects. The necessity of launching the International Industrial Cooperation Center this year and expanding the activities of the joint foreign trade company was emphasized.

Additionally, the parties discussed the regional agenda, including preparations for the Central Asia summits to be held in Uzbekistan. The schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events was also reviewed.

According to the presidential press service, the meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
