The government has adopted a new decision, updating the procedure for issuing sanitary-epidemiological conclusions for food and agricultural products. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This regulation aims to introduce clear, understandable, and prompt mechanisms for manufacturers, importers, and entrepreneurs. From now on, the sanitary conclusion issued for products will be valid for up to three years.
This reduces excessive bureaucratic processes for entrepreneurs and stabilizes work procedures. Additionally, conclusions for imported products will be issued according to their shelf life.
If the product's shelf life is not specified, an indefinite conclusion may be granted. The main goal of state control is to ensure the market offers safe and reliable products for consumers.
A sanitary conclusion is required in the following cases: when producing a new type of product, when the composition of an existing product is changed, when technological processes or equipment are modified, when experimental products are prepared, for products imported into the republic, and when the conclusion expires. Applicants can apply for the conclusion at State Service Centers or submit an online application via the my.gov.uz portal.
This process is aimed at eliminating unnecessary paperwork for entrepreneurs. All conclusions are confirmed electronically with a QR code and sent to the applicant's personal account within one working day.
The new regulation is regarded as an important step to enhance consumer safety, strengthen control over product quality in the market, and create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs. Source: One.uz.
