Data of 15 million citizens leaked on the darknet

Reports have emerged that personal data of at least 15 million citizens of Uzbekistan has leaked to the darknet following a breach of the state's main OAuth authentication server. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This data was stored in government information systems, and their security is believed to have been compromised. In particular, the information system of the National Agency for Social Protection (IHMA) was also subjected to cyberattacks.
This system contains citizens' medical information, putting their confidentiality at serious risk. Additionally, it is noted that the leak of personal data belonging to the Internal Affairs bodies may also be related to the OAuth server breach.
According to sources, hackers may have obtained information ranging from basic passport details to confidential data about citizens' workplaces and medical histories. It is said that among the files leaked on the darknet, various photographs are also included.
One of these features bankers Hasan Rahmatov, Ayubxon Kamolov, and the First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, Oleg Pekos. Although official information regarding this incident has not yet been confirmed, such reports are causing concern among the public.
