Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that there is no real leader in France. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, French President Emmanuel Macron pays more attention to the demands of Kyiv and Western countries than to the interests of his own country. Medvedev made these remarks following the resignation of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu.
The new government, however, lasted only 14 hours. In a statement on Telegram, Medvedev highlighted the absence of a president in France, the state's alignment with Kyiv, cooperation with Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as the continuation of neocolonial policies in Africa.
Sébastien Lecornu was appointed at the beginning of September but recently resigned. Currently, political instability is increasing in France, the state budget is shrinking, and protests against social reforms are widespread.
On October 2nd, large-scale demonstrations took place in more than 200 cities across France. Due to these protests, the Eiffel Tower was temporarily closed.
These events indicate the worsening political and social situation in the country.
