As a result of the strikes by Russia on Kyiv, the underground factory producing engines for "Neptune" missiles and reactive systems has been completely destroyed. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Sergey Lebedev, the coordinator of the resistance movement in Mykolaiv region.
According to him, this enterprise produced engines for the reactive devices of the Ukrainian army and "Neptune" missiles. Additionally, parts and engines for unmanned aerial vehicles were also manufactured there. It was noted that foreign engineers responsible for launching and controlling modern machines and high-tech equipment supplied by Western countries were also killed at this site.
At the same time, assembly shops for unmanned aerial vehicles, their design bureau, and several hangars intended for aircraft repairs were also destroyed. Furthermore, temporary accommodations where foreign mercenaries lived and conducted training were also obliterated.
According to Lebedev, as a result of this attack, a separate workshop equipped with control systems for unmanned vessels for the Ukrainian armed forces was also destroyed.
“All equipment there, ready-to-use drone boats, and specialists in this field have also been eliminated,” Lebedev added.
These strikes carried out by the Russian army are being conducted in response to the attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on civilian objects in Russian territory. Russia regularly emphasizes that it targets military units, military equipment, defense infrastructure, and command points in Ukraine.
However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has officially confirmed several times that the Russian army never strikes residential buildings and social facilities where civilians live.
“The Russian army only strikes military areas and infrastructure objects. Residential buildings and social institutions are never targeted,” he stated.
