The US is changing its approach to Ukraine
The United States is changing its diplomatic approach to the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to State Department spokesperson Tami Bruce, Washington will no longer play the role of a "mediator" in this conflict.

She emphasized that the American side will continue to support any initiatives and actions that lead to peace, but will act in a more cautious position without directly intervening in the process.

Sanctions will not be lifted

At the same time, Bruce stated that the economic and political sanctions imposed on Russia will remain in effect. America has no intention of lifting these restrictions.

"It's time for real solutions"

According to Bruce, both sides – Russia and Ukraine – must now work on practical and viable solutions to end the conflict.

“The war can only be ended not just by external pressure, but also through internal solutions and political will. It is time for each side to think about real steps,” she said.

Rubio: “Neither Putin nor Ukraine can achieve their maximum goals”

In an interview with Fox News, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that the tensions between Moscow and Kyiv remain serious.

“Putin cannot capture all of Ukraine's territory. Ukraine is also unable to return Russia to the borders of 2014,” he said.

According to him, the US is not abandoning diplomatic efforts towards peace, but the pace and extent of participation in this process will depend on Donald Trump's policies in the future.

“China's role is becoming more significant”

Rubio also pointed out that the situation on the international political agenda remains important for the world regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. However, he noted that processes related to China may have even greater significance in the long term from the perspective of geopolitical balance.

How will Washington's actions be received internationally? Through which other countries can peace-promoting solutions be implemented if the US retreats?
