Those who harmed Brigitte Macron's honor were punished

The Paris criminal court has issued a verdict regarding baseless information, insults, and discriminatory remarks spread on the internet against France's First Lady Brigitte Macron. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the court's decision, 10 defendants were found guilty of deliberately harming Brigitte Macron's honor. Most of them were sentenced to suspended prison terms ranging from 4 to 8 months.
Additionally, one of the defendants received a 6-month prison sentence for failing to appear at the court session. Among those sentenced were Aurélien Poirson, head of an advertising agency, and Amandine Rua, known as a fortune teller.
They were accused of organizing a disinformation campaign against Brigitte Macron. Furthermore, the court obliged them to participate in special courses aimed at improving online communication culture.
The rumors spread by the defendants included baseless and insulting claims that Brigitte Macron was "actually born male." They also attempted to publicly mock the age difference between Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.
It was also reported that similar rumors about Brigitte Macron were spread by Candace Owens, a far-right activist in the United States. Emmanuel Macron himself filed a lawsuit regarding this matter.
The court proceedings are ongoing.
