Iran leader calls the people to unity

During the recent intensified protests in Iran, the country's supreme leader Ali Khamenei called on the people to unite and show solidarity. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that some citizens who took to the streets are individuals who have not fully understood the situation and have been influenced by external forces. Khamenei criticized US President Donald Trump, describing his policy as hypocritical and strongly condemning the US stance towards the Iranian people.
According to the supreme leader, Trump's hands are stained with the blood of thousands of Iranians, yet he portrays himself as supporting the Iranian people. Additionally, Khamenei cited historical examples in his speech, warning that events similar to the overthrow of former Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi could be repeated.
Despite external interference and pressure, he called on the Iranian people to maintain their unity. The protests began on December 28 due to the devaluation of the local currency.
Security measures have been intensified, with police using tear gas and other means. Donald Trump stated that if protesters are killed, severe measures would be taken against Iran.
Currently, the country seems caught between internal economic problems and external political pressures. The main question now is whether this tension will ease or escalate further.
This issue will become clearer in the coming days.
