Trump announced the “Peace Council” initiative

Former US President Donald Trump has announced a new initiative called the "Peace Council" aimed at resolving global conflicts. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of this initiative, about 60 countries are planned to be invited to join the council. However, many countries are approaching this initiative cautiously and are not rushing to openly support it at this time.
According to the plans of the initiative, the council will initially focus on resolving the Gaza conflict in the Middle East, and later will cover other regional disputes as well. Donald Trump is designated to serve as the council's lifelong chairman.
In addition to three-year memberships, countries that contribute large amounts of funding are expected to be granted permanent membership status. So far, only Hungary has openly supported this initiative.
Other countries have expressed concerns that the initiative may weaken the role of the United Nations (UN) in resolving international conflicts. Some diplomats emphasize that the new council could negatively affect UN activities and increase disagreements within the international dialogue system.
The UN leadership has reminded that countries have the right to freely choose forms of cooperation and stated that the organization will continue to fulfill its duties. Experts note that the UN remains an important and the only common platform for ensuring global peace and security.
