Practical assistance is being provided to Uzbeks remaining in Qatar

Due to the complex situation in the Middle East, practical assistance is being provided to hundreds of Uzbeks stranded in Qatar. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to current information, more than 500 compatriots have been accommodated in various hotels in Doha. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Qatar maintains constant contact with them and is striving to resolve necessary issues on site.
According to the "Dunyo" news agency, embassy staff regularly communicate with citizens temporarily staying in Doha, assess their needs, and take practical measures to assist them. For example, on March 3, diplomats visited La Villa and OYYO Hotel, where they compiled lists based on the personal information of the compatriots staying there.
This was an important step to organize the assistance in an orderly and precise manner. Additionally, the embassy, in cooperation with the "Vatandosh" public foundation, delivered iftar meals to some needy citizens accommodated in the hotels.
Such assistance serves as a great moral support for people during long waits, uncertainty, and difficult travel conditions. Citizens in need of medical help have also not been overlooked.
Some compatriots were taken to Hamad Hospital and received the necessary medical care. This shows that each case is approached individually in this situation.
Furthermore, the embassy was also involved in the case of a citizen who died as a result of a road traffic accident in Doha. Assistance was provided in processing the necessary documents for the burial, and a funeral ceremony was organized in cooperation with the relevant Qatari authorities.
This diplomatic mission demonstrates that it is assisting compatriots not only with travel issues but also during difficult times. Currently, Qatar's airspace has not yet been fully opened.
Therefore, the issue of the return of compatriots has not been fully resolved, but the embassy continues to monitor the situation and take necessary measures. Previously, it was reported that 48 Uzbeks remained in Doha due to the closure of the airspace, and now the scale of the situation has expanded.
In short, the current situation is not easy. However, the most important thing is that hundreds of Uzbeks have not been left unattended.
They have been accommodated in hotels, registered, provided with food and medical assistance if needed, and the embassy is working on site. In such times, the greatest strength is order, communication, and not abandoning each other.
