US imposes strict naval blockade on Iranian ports

The US Central Command announced that starting from April 13 of this year, a strict blockade regime will be imposed on ships entering and leaving Iranian ports. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made because diplomatic negotiations between Washington and Tehran yielded no effective results and the parties were unable to reach an agreement. According to the official report, the restrictions being introduced will fully cover all Iranian ports located in the Persian and Gulf of Oman.
Nevertheless, it was emphasized that the free movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which is of international importance, will be maintained. This measure is being implemented to ensure security in the region and to increase regional political pressure.
This situation has also had an impact on the global economy. Oil prices have risen sharply in international financial markets, and signs of economic instability are clearly visible.
Experts express concern that the rise in oil prices could negatively affect global inflation rates. Currently, the international community and major oil-producing countries are trying to continue the negotiation process to prevent the situation from escalating further.
It is currently unknown how long this blockade regime will last and what consequences it will lead to. The US side explains its decision as a measure to protect regional security and as a response to Iran's aggressive actions.
Observers worldwide evaluate these events as a new stage in the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. For now, the parties remain firm in their positions, and no concrete agreement has been reached to ease the situation.
