Iran refused to extend the ceasefire and rejected negotiations

According to reports from state television, Tehran has announced that it does not recognize the issue of extending the peace treaty. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The official statement emphasized that the country may decide whether to adhere to the terms of the agreement or cease their implementation, prioritizing its national interests. According to information distributed by the Tasnim news agency, Iran has officially stated that it will not participate in negotiations expected to be held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
These meetings were planned to be organized for dialogue with the United States. Additionally, the Iranian side specifically noted that no official request regarding the extension of the peace term had been sent by the United States of America.
The statements also extensively discussed the issue of restrictions on sea routes. Iranian representatives characterize the continuation of the naval blockade as a hostile act.
It was stated that if the current situation does not change, the country may not restore transport traffic in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. According to officials, the possibility of using force to lift the blockade if necessary cannot be ruled out.
Such statements are fueling concerns about the deterioration of the security situation and further escalation of tensions in the Middle East region. Iran's firm position has sparked great interest within the international community and is expected to affect regional stability in the future.
