According to Netanyahu, Aliyev's diplomatic skill and active support in restoring dialogue between Israel and Turkey was an important step towards peace and stability in the region.

“Thanks to your efforts, a new chapter has opened in the relations between the two peoples. This serves not only the two states but also the expansion of regional cooperation,” Netanyahu's letter states.
