Putin and Xi Jinping to sign declaration on new international order

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are expected to adopt a significant joint declaration on shaping a new international order and a multipolar world during their high-level meeting in Beijing, Zemlya.uz reported.
The meeting plays a key role in advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries to a new level. According to Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian president on international affairs, the leaders will not only adopt this declaration but also sign a special joint statement aimed at further deepening mutual trust, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation following their talks.
These documents reflect the long-term interests of both sides and serve as a cornerstone for ensuring regional stability. As Ushakov emphasized, the draft declaration is a unique programmatic document in both scope and content.
The declaration, spanning forty-seven pages, outlines clear positions on Russia-China international cooperation, strengthening the global security system, and establishing new forms of interstate relations. It also details the strategic goals of promoting a polycentric model of global development and a just international order.
This important political document is being adopted at a time when political dialogue and economic ties between Moscow and Beijing are intensifying to an unprecedented degree. Experts view the declaration as a powerful signal demonstrating the two major countries’ shared approach to global processes and their alignment in international politics.
This step will not only strengthen bilateral relations but also exert a notable influence on the balance of forces in world politics.
