Putin wants to end the war with a Russian victory in 2026

The armed clash between Russia and Ukraine, which remains one of the hottest points in global politics, has entered a new phase of development, Zamin.uz reports.
According to a report by the influential Bloomberg news agency, citing its reliable sources, Russian President Vladimir Putin is reported by Bloomberg, citing its reliable sources, Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to end this large-scale war by the end of 2026. However, the Kremlin leader intends to take this step only and only if certain conditions are met, which official Moscow considers an absolute victory.
Several important clauses have been included in these confidential conditions. First, it is planned to establish full and unconditional control of Russia over the entire Donbass territory, which is of strategic importance.
Second, Russia is demanding the signing of a comprehensive security agreement with European countries that would de facto recognize all of Russia’s territorial gains in recent years, namely the occupied territories.
Additionally, according to Bloomberg’s sources, disagreements are also observed among the Kremlin’s top leadership and senior officials.
Some insiders secretly emphasize that this armed adventure has reached a dead end and that there is no clear legal way to resolve the situation. Moreover, many representatives of Russia’s political and business elite note the growing anxiety among the population and the desire to get out of the war due to the restless atmosphere in cities far from the front line, caused by regular drone attacks.
However, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian leader, denied these noisy reports, stating categorically that Vladimir Putin has not set any specific deadline or time frame for the completion of military operations. At the same time, it is observed that the situation at the front has intensified in recent weeks.
Long-range strike drones launched by Ukraine are frequently hitting strategic facilities located tens of kilometers inside the Russian border. The main targets of the Ukrainian armed forces are oil refineries, which are primarily large Russian oil processing plants.
As a result of these attacks, serious damage has been observed in major industrial facilities. According to Reuters’ analysis, these strikes have caused significant damage to the operation of oil refineries in the central part of Russia.
It is worth noting that a significant portion of the total petroleum products produced in the country was exactly accounted for by these now-damaged refineries. Furthermore, unmanned aerial vehicles are regularly affecting various civilian infrastructures.
