Donald Trump temporarily suspended military operations against Eronga

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to resume military operations against Iran after the conclusion of the Hajj season, Zamin.uz reports.
According to information disseminated by Middle East Eye, Washington's key allies in the Persian Gulf region have urged the U.S. administration to refrain from armed confrontations during the sacred days of the pilgrimage visit. These diplomatic recommendations were reportedly made in advance with the aim of preserving regional stability and respecting religious values.
Donald Trump confirmed in a statement on May 18 that the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar had asked him to temporarily suspend military actions. As a result, the planned airstrikes against Iran, originally scheduled for May 19, have been postponed indefinitely.
Allied nations conveyed to U.S. leadership that any military action carried out on the eve of Eid al-Adha could seriously damage Washington's reputation throughout the Muslim world. Furthermore, media sources note that Trump was also warned by officials within his own administration.
Advisors suggest that, in the current delicate situation, the initiation of military operations involving the U.S. and Israel could negatively impact the president's political standing on the international stage and affect the election process. Consequently, the White House appears to have opted for a diplomatic waiting tactic instead of immediate military pressure.
The situation in the region is expected to remain relatively calm until the Hajj rituals are fully completed. However, the U.S.'s strategic plans regarding Iran remain unchanged, and there is a high likelihood that tensions may escalate further in the future.
