He proposed the creation of a new military alliance with the participation of Muslim countries.

The Iranian government has come forward with an initiative to create a large military and political alliance encompassing fifty-seven Muslim countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This proposal is expected to be called the Islamic NATO in the international arena. Information regarding this idea was announced by official Iranian sources and international publications.
This initiative was put forward by the special assistant to the Iranian Minister of Internal Affairs, who emphasized that the unification of the Muslim world would create a new center of power on a global scale. According to the official, if Islamic states act under a single alliance, they will become a decisive military and economic power not only regionally but also in world politics.
The author of the proposal listed the main advantages of such a union as vast energy resources, economic opportunities, and important strategic directions. In particular, it was noted that joint control over the Strait of Hormuz, which is of critical importance to global trade routes, could be one of the alliance's primary tools of influence.
This, in turn, would significantly strengthen the position of Muslim states in issues of international energy security. It is worth noting that this initiative currently remains only at the proposal stage.
Other leading Muslim states and international organizations in the world have not yet expressed an official reaction to this idea voiced by Iran. Political analysts speculate that the formation of such an alliance could completely change the balance of power in the region.
Nevertheless, political and ideological differences between many states are seen as factors that could hinder the realization of such a large-scale union.
