Squished NeeDoh toys are posing a serious threat to children's safety

Recently, warnings have been issued worldwide about the potential health risks posed by sensory toys known as NeeDoh, which have become popular among children and teenagers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Medical experts emphasize that heating, freezing, or placing these toys in microwave ovens can cause severe burns to the human body. As a result, specialists are urging parents to pay closer attention to their children's safety.
According to specialists, the special gel-like filling inside these toys generates strong pressure when exposed to high temperatures. Consequently, the toy's casing may rupture without bursting, spraying the hot substance into the surrounding area.
In such cases, the hot mass can severely burn the skin on the face, hands, and other exposed parts of the body. Although manufacturers warn on packaging that the toys should not be heated or frozen, children often ignore these guidelines due to dangerous trends and challenges circulating on social media.
International experience has already begun to show the serious consequences of such carelessness. For example, in Missouri, USA, a seven-year-old girl suffered serious injuries after heating a NeeDoh toy in a microwave oven.
The spilled hot substance burned her skin severely, forcing doctors to perform a complex skin grafting procedure. Similar incidents have been reported in regions such as Great Britain, Chicago, and New Mexico, serving as harsh lessons for many families.
Healthcare professionals warn that such burns may lead to permanent scarring, vision impairment, and other serious long-term effects. Therefore, parents must explain to their children that they should not trust any viral online challenges and must strictly follow safety rules when using toys.
It is vitally important to never heat, freeze, or leave NeeDoh and similar sensory toys in direct sunlight or hot places.
