Russia launched a major attack on Kharkiv using Shahed drones

On the night of March 1, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region using Shahed drones. Local police reported on Telegram that nine attacks were recorded in the city's Kyiv, Shevchenko, and Novobavarsky districts.

One of the drones hit a three-story medical building, resulting in a fire on the roof. Rescuers, police, medical personnel, and volunteers evacuated 64 people from the building, including 56 patients and one child.

Residential buildings, a shopping center, stores, a gas station, a car dealership, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged, added the Kharkiv regional police. Fires occurred in several other locations.

According to law enforcement agencies, at least seven people were injured as a result of the drone strikes. The Kharkiv regional military administration clarified that all the injured received assistance at the scene and did not require hospitalization.

Previously, Kharkiv was attacked by drones twice

On the evening of February 27, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the energy system of the Kharkiv region with at least 12 kamikaze drones. Three people were injured, local officials reported.

The following night, another major drone airstrike was carried out on Kharkiv, resulting in a fire in a civilian enterprise over an area of up to 1500 square meters. As a result, four people were injured due to the drone crash in the Rogan district.
