The new BYD Sea Lion 05 has been officially unveiled

BYD continues to rapidly update its range of models. This is especially being implemented quickly with the introduction of new innovative technologies, as reported by the CenyAvto website. Recently, the Chinese manufacturer began equipping its cars with a new system called God’s Eye. This system will also be featured in the BYD Sea Lion 05 crossover, which is expected to be produced in 2025 and soon released in the domestic market.

So far, the manufacturer has released official images of this model. However, these are only sketches, and the production version may undergo some changes. According to the images, the new crossover will have a compact-shaped front optics characteristic of the brand. It is located along the elongated hood. The front bumper is equipped with large air intakes. The rear part has a vertical shape.

According to information, the BYD Sea Lion 05 has a length of 4520 mm, and a wheelbase of 2720 mm. Its width is 1860 mm, and height is 1630 mm. Rumors suggest that the model may be offered with a single electric motor producing 218 horsepower. However, the battery specifications and power reserve have not yet been disclosed.

So far, the manufacturer has not provided information about the crossover's interior equipment and cabin design.
