The president presented the updated Damas model, as reported by Nova24.uz.
It has been announced that a new car is planned to be produced at the car factory located in the Tuproqqal’a district of the Khorezm region, where Damas and Labo are currently being manufactured. This was emphasized by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting dedicated to the development of the region.
According to the project, it is planned to produce a car that is in high demand in the market, based on a total investment of 100 million dollars, which is economical and user-friendly. The new Damas will have 7 seats and will comply with the ecological "Euro-5" standard.
The responsible authorities have been tasked with completing negotiations with partners by the end of this year, starting large-scale assembly in 2026, and transitioning to a full production process with a localization level of 50 percent by 2027.
