The updated "Tank 300" off-road vehicle was officially presented in China

Great Wall Motor, a Chinese automaker, has officially unveiled an updated version of its popular off-road model, the Tank 300. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The new generation model features not only exterior changes but also significantly increased dimensions and advanced hybrid systems, attracting attention from car enthusiasts. Notably, the updated Tank 300 has surpassed the brand's flagship Tank 500 in wheelbase length.
This information has been shared by industry specialists and media outlets. Significant exterior updates have been made to the vehicle.
In particular, the radiator grille now features a new design resembling a shield shape, the bumpers have been redesigned, and the brand emblem has been modernized. Additionally, a special laser sensor has been installed at the rear to support driver assistance systems, and indicators showing the operation of the intelligent control system have appeared in the exterior mirrors.
The new Tank 300 has grown significantly in dimensions. The vehicle measures 4886 mm in length, 1984 mm in width, and 1927 mm in height.
The wheelbase has been extended to 3010 mm. For comparison, the new off-roader is 136 mm longer and 54 mm wider than the current model.
The 260 mm increase in wheelbase will significantly alter the interior space. Even when considering that the higher-end Tank 500 model has a wheelbase of 2850 mm, the new Tank 300 sets a new standard in its class.
The interior also features several changes. Engineers have returned to a classic three-spoke steering wheel equipped with multiple functional buttons.
The cabin also includes a digital instrument panel, a large central display, and an electronic transmission control unit. These changes enhance both the vehicle's off-road capabilities and its comfort in urban conditions.
The engine lineup has also been greatly expanded. Buyers are offered several options.
These include a 238-horsepower turbocharged gasoline engine, a powerful six-cylinder unit producing 360 horsepower, and hybrid systems with 251 horsepower. Hybrid modifications are available in two versions: a special tune designed for heavy off-road conditions and a versatile version for general use.
Higher-capacity battery versions allow driving up to 200 kilometers on electric power alone. The new Tank 300 model is expected to attract significant interest in the Uzbek automotive market, as the brand's previous models have already found their place on the country's roads.
Pre-orders for the new model have begun in China, with prices expected to be announced in the near future. These updates are undoubtedly going to improve the model's competitiveness.
