Temu marketplace registered as a legal entity in Uzbekistan

The Temu marketplace has been registered as a legal entity — a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Tax Committee.

Earlier, it was reported that the use of the Temu platform in Uzbekistan would be restricted starting from March 20, 2025 earlier.

According to paragraph 2 of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 26, 2024, regarding “Measures to further develop the electronic commerce sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” only legal entities — residents of Uzbekistan can operate as electronic commerce operators, specifically as operators of electronic trading platforms.
