A new decree has been adopted to support entrepreneurship and promote exports
The President's decree on "Measures to stimulate production, export, and entrepreneurial activities, and to enhance the effectiveness of trade and industrial policy" has been signed.
According to the decree, a number of new measures will be implemented to improve the competitive environment in the domestic market. In particular:
? The procedure for determining the customs value of goods will be fully aligned with the requirements of the 1994 General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and Article VII of this agreement;
? Any privileges or special customs clearance procedures will be abolished in the process of determining the customs value.
Additionally, the mandatory state registration procedure for goods with a high level of risk will be abolished. A procedure for issuing a conformity declaration to confirm their safety will be introduced.
Starting from May 1, 2025, the registration of conformity declarations in certification bodies will be abolished, and this process will be carried out electronically through the Technical Regulation Information System (TRIS).
