The Central Bank has announced new exchange rates effective from April 14, 2025.
Notably, the main currencies have appreciated against the som.
Significant growth in the dollar and euro
- US dollar: +11.95 som → 12,980.33 som
- Euro: +436.37 som → 14,779.40 som
A significant difference is noticeable in both currencies. The euro is approaching a record level.
What about other currencies?
- British pound: +313.96 → 17,034.09 som
- Russian ruble: +2.14 → 154.51 som
- Kazakh tenge: +0.04 → 25.17 som
The rates indicate that the som has been under pressure against the main currencies in recent days.
