Cases related to the illegal sale of land plots have been identified

A private entrepreneur living in the Karmana district of Navoi region, having gained the trust of others, claims that a 1-hectare vacant land plot reserved by the district administration belongs to him and demands 2 billion soums in exchange for selling it and arranging the cadastral documents through his official acquaintances. He was caught by the State Security Service and the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office with material evidence while receiving 1 billion soums of the requested amount in Navoi city.

In a case observed in the Andijan region, two brothers living in the Khojaobod district demand 300 thousand US dollars in exchange for arranging a 2-hectare land plot reserved by the state in the name of a buyer through their acquaintances working in high positions. During an operation conducted by the State Security Service in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, one of them was caught while receiving 50 thousand US dollars of the requested amount.

The head of a farm specializing in cotton and grain production in the Uchko‘prik district of Fergana region agreed to sell 50 acres of irrigated land of this farm to a buyer for 55 thousand US dollars and was caught by the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes while receiving 45 thousand US dollars of that amount.

In another case, the head of a limited liability company producing confectionery products in the Kuva district was caught with material evidence while receiving 35 thousand US dollars in exchange for arranging a 10-acre land plot of this LLC as a residential property through his acquaintances in the cadastral system.

In an operation conducted by the Tashkent city department of the State Security Service and the Tashkent city police, a citizen living in the capital was caught while agreeing to sell each acre of a 16-acre land plot located in the Tashkent district and reserved by the state for 22 thousand US dollars per acre, totaling 352 thousand US dollars, and promising to arrange it in the name of his acquaintances working in high positions, having received 30 thousand US dollars in advance. The operation continued, and his accomplice, who lives in the Tashkent district and had previously been convicted for a fraud-related crime, was also caught while receiving this 30 thousand US dollars.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
