The government has approved the procedure for providing vouchers for recreation organized for talented students and leading pedagogical staff. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This measure is aimed at encouraging academic and creative achievements in the education system. Those wishing to receive the right to free recreation must meet specific criteria based on their successes in national and international intellectual and creative competitions.
Within the framework of the program, 12-day recreation vouchers will be provided throughout the year. The geography of the project covers several important regions of the country.
In particular, there are camps such as "Lochin" in Jizzakh region, "Gagarin" in Kashkadarya region, "Kaldirgoch" and "Humor" in Samarkand region, "Republican Recreation Center" in Tashkent region, and "Kukon Nafosat" camp in Fergana region. Recreation for talented students will be organized during the summer months, from June to August.
Pedagogical staff will have the opportunity to rest from September to May. Candidates among students aged 7 to 14 will be selected by regional commissions.
These commissions will focus on school students who stand out with their academic achievements and successes in competitions. The right to receive vouchers will be granted to students who have secured 1st to 3rd places in the 3rd and 4th stages of national and international subject Olympiads.
Additionally, winners of regional international Olympiads, participants of global intellectual competitions, and prize winners of international contests, festivals, and sports competitions will also be considered. Winners of competitions held by republican organizations will also be taken into account within this program.
Criteria for selecting pedagogues are also clearly defined, aimed at encouraging teachers based on their high results in the field of education. Vouchers will be awarded to specialists who have prepared winners of international Olympiads and to teachers who have won such competitions themselves.
Special attention will be given to teachers of foreign languages and STEAM disciplines, as well as qualified specialists with international certificates. Furthermore, teachers who have prepared students who placed in national Olympiads will also be eligible for recreation.
The program also covers staff from primary and preschool education, as well as pedagogues with high or first qualification categories. Teachers who have prepared winners of regional stage Olympiads will also benefit from this opportunity.
Some recreation camps, such as the "Gagarin" camp, were established during the Soviet era and have since been considered prestigious recreation spots for children in the region. Today, these camps continue to maintain their significance within the framework of new educational initiatives.
