According to Fernandes, everything depends on God's will, and he mentioned that he is living in peace and tranquility. As for Mario Fernandes's achievements in sports, he has played 33 matches for the Russian national team, scoring five goals.

One of those goals was scored against the Croatian national team in the quarter-finals of the World Cup held in Russia in 2018. It was also reported that in the summer, Fernandes trained with the Torpedo team.
