Tarxan Jabrailov is appointed as the new general director of the "Qanotlar Sovetlari" football club in Samarkand. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
His appointment will be officially announced in the coming days. Jabrailov will also serve as the deputy finance minister of Samarkand region at the same time.
This appointment may be related to the complex financial situation in the club. The 37-year-old leader became a member of the club's board of directors in January 2025, according to "Sport-Express."
"Qanotlar Sovetlari" started the season with a debt of nearly one billion soums to the "RT-Kapital" company. Nevertheless, the club obtained a license by providing the necessary guarantees from the Russian Football Union.
In the first round of the Russian Premier League, "Qanotlar Sovetlari" played a 1:1 draw against the "Akron" team from Tolyatti. During the interim season, Magomed Adiev was appointed as the head coach instead of Igor Osinkin.
