Rubin defeated Akhmat in Grozny with two goals
In the first round of the Russian championship, the initial matches took place between the teams "Akhmat" and "Rubin". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In this match, both Rashid Rahimov and Stanislav Cherchesov observed the game process from the stands at the stadium of their former club. The match protocol indicates that the "Rubin" team won with a score of 2:0.
The first goal was scored by Shabanhadjay Dardan in the 24th minute, and the second goal was attributed to Khodja Veldin in the 51st minute. Last season, the "Akhmat" team managed to maintain its position in the Premier League.
Although in the first playoff match they lost to "Ural," leading to the resignation of coach Sergey Tashuev, Fedor Shcherbachenko successfully managed the team and ensured their survival in the league. Subsequently, Alexander Storozhuk was appointed as the head coach.
In the first 20 minutes of the match, the "Akhmat" team organized positional attacks, but it was "Rubin" that opened the scoring. During the game, the Kazan team executed two strong attacks, with the second one resulting in a goal.
The unsuccessful attempt by "Akhmat" defender Ibishev to gain possession allowed Shabanhadjay to approach the left corner, but he could not beat goalkeeper Sheliyan. The goal came shortly after: a pass from Daku was directed forward by Rojkov, and Shabanhadjay sent the ball into the net with a precise shot.
"Rubin" returned to defense to maintain their lead and successfully defended until the end of the first half. Meanwhile, four players from "Akhmat" received yellow cards.
In the match, Mansi was active, and Konate also made serious efforts, but many shots were stopped by Kazan defenders. In between, medical assistance was required for Mirlin.
In the second half, the "Akhmat" team tried to strengthen their position through substitutions, but this did not yield results. In the 51st minute, Shabanhadjay found Khodja with a short pass, who then advanced and attempted to pass the ball to Daku.
However, due to Ibishev's incorrect action, the ball touched Saduyaev and returned to Khodja, who defeated the goalkeeper, bringing the score to 0:2. "Rubin" returned to their defensive system, and the "Akhmat" team could not break through this defense.
At the same time, "Akhmat" failed to convert their goal-scoring opportunities in the match. This game marked the first home defeat for the "Akhmat" team in the new season.
Additionally, the "Rubin" team had a significant advantage in terms of the number of yellow cards. The final result of the match concluded with "Rubin" winning 2:0.
