According to The Athletic, the English champions have already agreed on the contract. The Reds will pay 69 million pounds (80 million euros) for the transfer.

With bonuses, this amount could rise by another 10 million pounds (11.5 million euros). Ekitike will sign a six-year contract with Liverpool.

After undergoing a medical examination, the 23-year-old player will join the team in Hong Kong. Liverpool is preparing for the new season.

The team, led by Arne Slot, will play their first official match against Crystal Palace on August 10 as part of the England Super Cup. This game is of great significance as the start of the new season.
