According to Barca Universal, based on information from journalist Miguel Rico (COPE), an agreement has been reached between the two clubs to loan the player until June 2026. Additionally, there is an option to buy the player after the loan period ends.
If the Catalans refuse to buy the player, they will have to pay Manchester United approximately five million euros in compensation. Rashford has agreed to reduce his salary by 30% for this transfer.
Nevertheless, his annual income is approximately 14 million euros. When the purchase option is activated, the amount will be around 30-35 million euros.
Marcus Rashford is a product of Manchester United's academy. He played on loan at Aston Villa in the second half of last season.
His contract with Manchester United is valid until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 50 million euros.
