Movsesyan opposed the return of Mario Fernandes

Former sports director Andrey Movsesyan explained the reasons for opposing Mario Fernandes' return to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the sports department did not approve Fernandes' return because his situation in Brazil was not good. There was information in the reports they provided regarding this.

Mario Fernandes spent ten years of his career at one club before leaving Russia and moving to the "Zenit" team. The negotiations were conducted by the general director of the "Army" team, Roman Babaev.

As a result, the defender returned to "Zenit," but he could not prove himself there. In the summer of 2025, he tried to find his place in the Moscow "Torpedo" team, but this attempt ended unsuccessfully.
