Spanish coach Frank Artiga, who previously worked at the "Khimki" club, explained his decision to continue his career at the "Petru Atletiku" club in Angola. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Artiga stated that choosing "Petru Atletiku" was an unconventional but very ambitious step. His main goal is to become the champion of the African Champions League.
He spoke about this in an interview with "Sport-Express." It is worth noting that Artiga was the head coach of the "Khimki" team last season.
However, before joining the club near Moscow, he worked in the "Rodina" system in the capital and specifically served as the head coach of the first team. Additionally, Artiga also mentioned that after leaving "Khimki" in April, clubs in the Russian Premier League showed interest.
There are big plans to achieve success with his new team.
