The midfielder of the "Rostov" team, Aleksey Mironov, shared his thoughts on the playing style of the team under the new head coach Jonathan Alba. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Mironov, Alba and Valeriy Georgiyevich have worked together for many years, so the team's playing style has not changed significantly. He emphasized in an interview with Metaratings that there are no new elements in the game of "Rostov," and the conditions and goals remain the same as before.
Alba was appointed head coach in February 2025, replacing Valeriy Karpin. He had previously been Karpin's assistant.
Under his leadership, "Rostov" secured eighth place in the Premier League standings and reached the superfinal of the Russian Cup, but lost to CSKA in the final. Thus, the team continues to maintain its playing style with the new coach, and its goals have not changed.
