
The Qatari club "Al-Sadd" has confirmed the signing of striker Roberto Firmino. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 33-year-old Brazilian player has signed a contract for two seasons after coming from the Saudi Arabian club "Al-Ahli." Firmino joined "Al-Ahli" as a free agent from "Liverpool" in the summer of 2023 and became one of the team's key players.
He played 65 matches, scored 21 goals, and provided 17 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is five million euros.
Last season, Firmino's new team "Al-Sadd" became the champion of Qatar. They secured the championship by defeating Firmino's former team "Al-Ahli" 5-0 in the final round of the tournament.
This was the 18th championship title in the history of the country's championships for "Al-Sadd."
