Maruan Shamah: The Golden Ball should be awarded to Hakim
Famous Moroccan former footballer Maruan Shamah has announced who he believes should receive the "Golden Ball." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the most deserving candidate for this award is his compatriot, Achraf Hakimi, who plays for PSG. Shamah believes that Hakimi fully deserves it with his brilliant performances.
He will continue to be supported by all Moroccans regardless of how things go in the coming years and has captured hearts. Especially, Achraf showcased his high-level skills at the Club World Cup, which cannot be said about other main candidates, says Shamah.
The PSG team won the Champions League and the French Ligue 1, and also reached the final of the Club World Cup, where they lost to Chelsea. Thus, Achraf Hakimi's achievements and play make him a worthy candidate for the "Golden Ball."
