Former Moscow "Spartak" football player Yevgeniy Lovchev expressed his opinion about Russian football players leaving for Europe. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, in recent years, Russian football players are trying to leave for Europe before they are fully developed. Lovchev emphasized that only Aleksandr Golovin has managed to become a solid player in the starting lineup in Europe.
Fedor Chalov, Arsen Zakharyan, and even Aleksey Miranchuk have not reached such a level. Lovchev continued his thoughts by citing the example of Ukrainian football player Andrey Shevchenko.
He moved from Kyiv's "Dynamo" club to "Milan" in the summer of 1999. Shevchenko was already a mature player at that time, and Lobanovskiy had kept him, not selling him.
After Milan bought him for 25 million euros, it became clear that a player would not be benched for such a large sum, even if he faced failure in two matches. According to Lovchev, this approach should also be applied to Sergey Pinyaev.
It was previously reported that this summer CSKA wanted to buy Sergey Pinyaev, but the 20-year-old player refused to move from "Lokomotiv" to the "army" team. Reports have circulated in the media that Pinyaev wants to test himself in Europe.
